HAMADAN carpet, (Iran), 3rd third of the 20th century. Dimensions : 204 x 130cm. Technical features: Wool velvet on cotton backing. A cherry field with stylized vegetal sowing supports a hexagonal counter-field with arrows, serrations and hooks, and a sky with varied sowing, the heart of which is a vegetalized hexagonal brick medallion. Sky border with a series of cruciform flowers. Beautiful palette (minor wear, as is).
