MIR-SARABEND carpet (Iran), 3rd third of the 20th century Dimensions: 131 x 89cm. Technical features: Wool velvet on cotton backing. A navy field sown with multicolored vegetal botehs, in staggered rows, is framed by an ivory main border with undulating stylized vegetal branches, flanked by four counter borders with garlands of polychrome florets and chess pieces. Beautiful set. (Minor wear)
