PENJAB carpet (India), 3rd third of the 20th century Dimensions: 197 x 123cm. Technical characteristics: Silk velvet on silk foundation. An ivory field hosts a pavement of large multicolored vegetal botehs interspersed with flowering vases, similar to the "Zil-I-Sultan" decoration. Large navy and brick border, with a succession of floral arabesques composed in an explosion of color. Magnificent palette.
