MOUD gallery carpet (Iran), late 20th century Dimensions: 298 x 74cm. Technical features: Wool velvet on cotton backing. An ivory field hosts a "Herati" design composed of a sowing of multicolored flowers laid on a delicate vegetal trellis. Cherry main border with starry flower suite, flanked by two bluish counter-borders with floral garlands. Ivory outer braid. Beautiful palette.
