Signed ISPAHAN carpet (Iran), late 20th century Dimensions : 333 x 246cm. Technical features: Wool velvet on cotton backing. A salmon-red field hosts large blossoming floral corollas in old gold, pistachio and ivory, set on a dense network of floral stems. The main border in old gold, with a succession of pastel flowers suspended from interlacing foliage, is flanked by two cream counter-borders with garlands of florets. Signature in a small cartouche. Trendy graphics and colors.
