Very beautiful and original KACHAN carpet (Iran), Shah period, mid-20th century Dimensions : 370 x 275cm. Technical features: High-quality "KORK" wool velvet on cotton backing. An ivory field is framed by a cream "molded" border, with bluish indentations and scrolls. It is adorned with flowering stems and bouquets, enriched with birds and interspersed with variegated phoenixes. The field, meanwhile, supports symmetrical floral compositions, creating a formation of great effect. Signed and atypical.
