LESGHI carpet (Caucasus), late 19th century Dimensions: 180 x 114cm. Technical features: Wool velvet and wool backing. Brick-red background decorated with four crenellated ivory and turquoise-blue star medallions, enriched by polychrome stylized flowers and "S". Ivory main border with multicolored serrated flowers surrounded by four brick-red counter-borders with small polychrome flowers, garlands and "chess pawns".
