MELAYER carpet (Persia), end of the 19th century Dimensions : 195 x 140cm. Technical characteristics : Wool velvet on a cotton foundation. Three ivory lozenge medallions covered with a thousand flowers encompass in their breasts and in the center a fourth navy lozenge with "botehs".
