Fine SENNEH carpet in multicolored silk chain (Persia), end of the 19th century Dimensions : 190 x 125cm. Technical characteristics : Wool velvet on silk foundation. Density = 12 000 knots per dm2 With double central medallions entangled ivory and midnight blue, decorated with patterns called "Herati" and framed by two small spears in the form of orthodox crosses. Four navy spandrels with decor reminiscent of the central field. Double border with the main blue night turtle shells geometric multicolored.
