KACHAN carpet woven in the workshops of the master weaver MORTACHEM (Persia), late 19th century Dimensions : 309 x 229cm. Technical characteristics : Wool velvet on cotton foundation. A brick field with flowering vases hosts twelve oval medallions marine, also, with sublime flowering vases in polychrome. Four counter borders brick and ivory with garlands of flowers frame the main navy with a series of superb cruciform rosettes multicolored plants, interspersed with flowery compositions. Stylized blue and brick highlighting (Small maintenance restorations)
