SARAB gallery carpet (Persia), 1st third of the 20th century Dimensions : 315 x 100cm. Technical characteristics : Wool velvet on cotton foundation. A broad frame "camel hair" encloses a counter border with chess pieces brick and anthracite in positive/negative, flanked, itself of a border old gold with delicate flowered stem; the whole is used as a frame to a field "camel hair" with stylized tricolored Botehs in staggered. Three two-tone highlights in ivory and brick. Tribal carpet.
