Important and magnificent ISPAHAN carpet, (Iran), late 20th century. Dimensions : 315 x 235cm. Technical features : Wool velvet on cotton backing. A cream field hosts a delicate honeycombed chestnut trellis, enriched with blossoming corollas and floral branches. Two darker-toned counter borders, with garlands of flowers, frame the main cream border, with a suite of floral compositions. A beautiful pastel ensemble.
